Consultants for Learning and Autism Support Services, Inc. (CLASS) is looking for bright, energetic and dedicated people who are interested in helping children with special needs achieve their fullest potential.

All positions require driving to different client locations along the San Francisco Peninsula and/or possibly the East Bay. We always try to place staff close to the area they reside in to keep driving to a minimum. A reliable means of transportation is necessary.

You will also be asked to have a background check and TB test as required by the state Department of Education.

Here are some positions we currently have available:

Program Supervisor
We are always seeking talented, articulate, and reliable individuals to help supervise cases and work with our skilled behavior therapists implementing intensive in-home programs to children diagnosed with ASD.

To qualify as a supervisor, you must have at least 3 years experience implementing and at least 2 years supervising intensive in-home programs and have experience consulting to and training school district staff. The applicant MUST have either a Masters or Ph.D. in Behavior Analysis, Psychology or Special Education to be considered for the position. Please do not apply if you do not have the above qualifications. References will be requested after a successful first interview.

Additional experience in the following areas will definitely be of benefit to the competitive applicant:

  • Functional behavior assessments
  • Discrete trial training (DTT)
  • Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS)
  • TEACCH
  • Pivotal Response Training (PRT)

The Supervisor position requires that he/she meet on a weekly basis with the Executive Director of CLASS to go over all cases.

Behavior Specialists
We are seeking 1:1 behavior therapists for both full and part time positions along the San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula (San Mateo County and Santa Clara County.)

Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis and a background in psychology or special education is preferred; However, an initial training is provided and will continue to occur on a weekly basis. A Bachelors degree is required. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
