Our Director, Denise Pollard, M.A., has been doing research and studying in the field of autism since 1991. Since that time, she has been consulting with families and school districts throughout California and Nevada. In December 2002, at the urging of school districts, parents, and local attorneys, she founded her own state certified, non-public agency, Consultants for Learning and Autism Support Services, Inc. also known by its acronym: CLASS (California certified non-public agency #1A-41-043).

Based on our strong commitment to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), all supervisors which CLASS employs have either a formal ABA graduate education or are currently enrolled in post-graduate course-work, which will allow them to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) exam in the near future.

CLASS currently provides comprehensive services to families, school districts, and childcare providers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Additionally we offer speech and occupational therapy services conducted by licensed professionals.

Clients are referred to us through several institutions and affiliations who recognize the quality of our services, such as the Children's Health Council at Stanford University, Children's Hospital-Oakland, Child Care Coordinating Council, PARCA, and Parents Helping Parents to name a few. We are also vendorized with Regional Centers in California to provide Behavior Analysis and Discrete Trial Training services to families in need. CLASS has always maintained a strong reputation with local families, attorneys, advocates, and school districts as well.
