School Services

CLASS provides school shadowing in general education classrooms, special day classes, and private school placements. We pride ourselves on supporting our students in a way that enables them to not only participate in the least restrictive environment, but also access the curriculum to the fullest extent, participating alongside peers with the supports they need. As in any behavioral practice, only the least intrusive methods of prompting are used first, and as needed, the level of prompting and presence of the shadow aide is increased.

CLASS has successfully supported a number of students' transition from county classrooms into special day classes, as well as special day classes to mainstream and inclusion environments. We pride ourselves on successfully collaborating with school administration, classroom staff and other service providers (speech, OT) in developing goals, tracking progress, providing sound interventions and participating as a member of the student's educational team. We strive to assist all of our clients in reaching their fullest potential, and ensuring their success in their educational placement.
