Bay Area Achievement School
The Bay Area Achievement School serves children Kindergarten through 6th grade (ages 5-14) on the Autism Spectrum, as well as children whose behavior and/or disabilities impede learning in a traditional school environment. We work closely with the child's home district to provide intensive educational and behavioral interventions that will help students access the skills required to return to a less restrictive environment.

Our Non-Public School provides students with the most appropriate environment and highest quality of individualized education in which they may learn and generalize their skills. Through emphasis on the student's strengths and talents, we encourage self-expression, self-efficacy and independence.

The Bay Area Achievement School adheres to all IDEA and No Child Left Behind legislation. Our curriculum meets all state and local standards and testing requirements as well as district-mandated Individualized Education Plans. Research-based curricular materials are selected to address individual student learning needs while providing access to the general education curriculum and supporting students’ ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with their peers. Our students will thrive in a highly individualized teaching environment, with a 2:5 ratio, a fully credentialed moderate-severe teacher and highly-trained paraprofessionals.
